Meet Whitney Kenner-Jones, your trusted advocate for a new era of leadership in Douglas County Commissioner District 2. With an unwavering dedication to ethical service, instilling trust, and upholding the highest standards of integrity, Whitney is committed to fostering and maintaining the public's trust in our government.

As the managing member of Kenner Jones Law, LLC, Whitney is not just an attorney; she is a dedicated problem-solver, helping individuals resolve legal matters swiftly and with minimal disruption to their daily lives. Specializing in civil practice and engaging in litigation across various areas, Whitney's passion extends to her commitment to the Juvenile Justice System. Working on delinquent and dependency cases, she advocates for appropriate care, treatment, and rehabilitation for youth while addressing the disparate impact on minorities in the system.

Beyond her legal practice, Whitney actively contributes to the community's well-being. Through independent discrimination and harassment investigations for organizations, she showcases a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Whitney fosters working environments that benefit from diverse perspectives while actively removing barriers to access and eliminating discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

Whitney Kenner-Jones's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health/Community Health Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University, and a law degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, GA. Licensed in both Georgia and Oregon, her comprehensive understanding of the law, court procedures, and innovative possibilities equips her for the role of Douglas County Commissioner.

Whitney's commitment to community service extends beyond her legal and professional pursuits. Volunteering for organizations like Hosea Feed the Hungry and Toys for Tots, she has demonstrated her dedication to community well-being. She spearheaded initiatives like the Bike/Scoot to School event at New Manchester Elementary, fostering a safe and enjoyable experience for children while promoting activity and healthy living.
